Thank you to all the applicants who attended our Job Fair inOctober 2012.  We met a lot of great candidates for our job openings.  Hiring has been completed for the 2012-2013 season.

If you missed the Job Fair, you can still apply in person at the Human Resources office in the West Lodge.  The departments described here may have positions available throughout the season.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.  New employees will earn minimum wage.  Benefits for seasonal employees include snow privileges and discounts.

Lift Department
If you like to work outdoors, this is the position for you. We encourage anyone 17 years & older to consider working as a Lift Attendant. This position allows direct involvement with our customers by assisting them to load & unload safely on the lifts. You'll learn the lift's operational procedures and be asked to maintain the loading and unloading ramps.

Rental Department
The Rental Shop is supervised by enthusiastic young adults, who make working in the Rental Shop a fun and worthwhile experience. You'll learn customer service skills that will be invaluable to you in the future. An energetic employee can quickly work up the ladder from assisting customers in boot selection to handing out skis or snow- boards to working on the Tech Bench. This department is a great starting position for our younger employees.

Food & Facility Services Department
This department provides opportunities for young and old alike. Daytime positions provide the perfect opportunity for homemakers/retirees to earn extra cash. Those in high school & college can work after school and on weekends. Jobs include preparing food such as hamburgers/fries/pizza, helping to keep kitchen area clean and cashiering.  Other duties include maintaining lodge cleanliness, greeter, customer assistance, etc. A great way to learn how Perfect North Slopes operates!

Information & Ticket Office
Another great opportunity to use your customer service skills. We encourage anyone with an outgoing personality to consider working in the office. Starting positions in the Ticket Office allow you to work one-on-one with the customer selling lift tickets/rentals/lessons and answering any questions they may have. As you gain experience you can move to the Information Office to perform various duties such as: pass sales, handling customer inquiries in person & on the phone, answering e-mails, and group sales.

Tubing Park
Outdoor family fun is the best description for our tubing hill. Our smiling employees assist customers with obtaining tubes, accessing the magic carpet lift and starting their fun from hilltop lanes. Rotating among the tubing park´s different stations keeps you mostly outside while working.

Instructor
Ski and snowboard instructors teach beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons.    On-snow assessments are complete and hiring decisions have been finalized for Snow Sports School Staff.  Be sure to attend our Job Fair next fall if you are interested in teaching next winter.
