FAQ's

When does the area open/close for the season?

We usually open around mid December and our typical closing date is early March. We open as soon as we have made enough snow to cover most of the trails. The opening and closing dates vary depending on the weather. (Always check our website for the most current snow report.)

How do I get to Perfect North Slopes?

Perfect North Slopes is located in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Please follow these directions: From I-275 take the US 50 Exit 16, follow ski area signs north on Indiana Route 1 to ski area entrance.

At what age/height can a child tube?

We prefer that children be at least four (4) years old. A separate, small tubing area is provided for children 3-6 years old, subject to snow availability. Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian while in this area. It’s the parent’s choice to allow their child to tube on the main tubing hill or in the children’s tubing area.  There is no minimum height required for tubing.

Do you have a beginners package?

If you are new to snowsports, we want to give you some tips to get started out right, and on the fast-track to having a good time on the snow. Our goal is to help you discover the fun of sliding on the snow, learning to control your speed and making those first turns. Consider taking a lesson.  Lessons are 50 minutes long, taught on the hour, for ages 4 and up. Learn more about lessons.

Do you offer group rates?

Group rates are available for both skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. Groups of 15 or more receive discounts. You must book your group trip at least two days in advance. See Group Rates. Registrations are limited so book early!

What should I do with my stuff?

Remember, you are responsible for your possessions while you are visiting our resort.  Refrain from bringing any extra items into the lodge if at all possible, and use our lockers (located throughout the facilities) to secure the items you must bring with you.  Our daily locker rentals range in price from $8-$16 depending on size. Skis and snowboards are prohibited inside the lodge and should be secured on the outdoor racks with personal equipment locks or dropped off at our Free Ski/Board Check located on the lower deck outside the Rental Shop.
