ANNUAL BIG AIR

Watch skiers and snowboarders show off their skills under the lights!

The Annual Big Air event goes down under the bright lights of the Audition Terrain Park! Competitors will display their best tricks to impress the crowd and judges in hopes of taking the top spot on the podium!

 

Judging criteria: difficulty of trick, execution, grab, style, and amplitude. Jumps typically range from 25’ to 35’ for the Amateur division, and 40’ to 50’ for the Professional division. Amateur competitors MUST attempt their tricks on the Amateur designated jump. Professional competitors have the option of hitting the AM or PRO jumps. Female skiers and snowboarders are also encouraged and welcome. Female skiers and riders will be judged in two separate divisions; Female ski and Female snowboard. Female competitors will ride during the Amateur division timeframe. Awards and prize distribution will follow at 9 pm once the judges come to a consensus top 3 for each division.

 

Terrain Park Event Waiver

All Contestants must sign a special event waiver prior to the event. Minors will require a signature from a legal guardian. Follow the link below to complete the event waiver.

Contest Format: – AM: 1 Style Run (1-10) plus Best Trick (1-40) [Total possible score of 50]

PRO: 1 style Run (1-10) plus Best 2 Tricks [Total possible score of 50]

AM Jump size: 30’ (skiers Right)

There are 3 ski judges and 3 snowboard judges

• Audition will be closed at 5 pm for feature maintenance and will only be open to Big Air Contestants
during the competition (6 pm-9 pm)
