CLUB LESSON PROGRAMS

All Club passes will include a Beginner Ski or Ride Lesson this season. This lesson will give them the opportunity to learn the basics involved in skiing and snowboarding. The lesson will be available for your first visit to the slopes at the top of every hour, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The lesson will last 50 minutes.

Club members will go directly to the Lesson Meeting Area located on the snow right outside the West Lodge. The Head Instructor will direct them from there.

If a lesson hour fills up, the Head Instructor may direct them to return at the top of the next hour, and in the meantime encourage them to visit the Discover Skiing and Snowboarding Area.

Club Members have the opportunity to purchase a 3-Week Skiing & Riding Lesson Program. 

This program is designed to build off the free beginner lesson and help skiers and riders become more confident and have more fun on the snow. The program will focus on skills needed to tackle beginner and intermediate terrain. 

Participants will select a time for the lesson (6:00, 7:00 or 8:00 PM) and will receive 50-minute lessons that fall on the preselected weekday for their club, for three consecutive weeks. 

Individuals will be grouped with skiers or snowboarders of the same or similar ability level. Instructors will work with the groups to improve their skills and increase their fun factor on the snow.

For the best learning experience, we strongly recommend that those registering the 3-Week Lesson Program work on one discipline (skiing or snowboarding) for all three weeks of lessons.

At the end of the three weeks, Club members will have remaining visits on their Club Pass to enjoy the snow with their friends with a deeper skill set and more confidence on varying terrain!

 *If an entire club (not individuals) misses their selected lesson day due to bussing, weather, school functions, etc., we will work with that club to accommodate their make-up lessons.

Club Race is for Club members to engage in healthy competition with their friends and other Clubs. The Club Race Program is a 4-week race program that includes race coaching, running gates using NASTAR timing and a culminating 4th week competition that pits Clubs against each other no matter what night you race.
A Giant Slalom race course will be set up off the Blue Chair to allow intermediate skiers and boarders to run gates and receive race coaching.

The Club Race venue will run from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Monday through Friday. At the top of each hour, Ski and Ride School Race Coaches will gather groups up and teach fundamentals that apply not only to racing, but to more advanced skiing and riding. Participants can engage in as much or as little coaching and gate-running throughout the event time.

This is a great opportunity for those wanting to advance their skills, have fun in the gates and determine who the fastest is in their Club in a safe, learning environment.

Helmets are strongly recommended for all programs, and especially for the Club Race Program.
