SPRING CARNIVAL
Celebrate an awesome winter season!
The Spring Carnival will return for the 25/26 winter season on Sunday, March 8th (Tentatively). Classic events will take place on the snow, making for a fun way to wrap up a fantastic winter season. Special events include: Garbage Bag Race, Decorated Cardboard Box Race, Scavenger Hunt, Slush Pit Event, 4v4 Volleyball tournament and Mahalo Rail Jam.

Special Event Waiver
All Contestants must sign a special event waiver prior to the event. Minors will require a signature from a legal guardian. Follow the link below to complete the event waiver.

Guidelines: Track down one of the real pineapples hidden throughout Perfect North Slopes and turn into the Group Window for your prize! Ten are located in and around the lodge, ten are hidden on Blue or Green runs on the slopes and five are located around the Tubing Village. Pineapples at the tubing park can be turned into the tubing ticket office for your prize! *Limit one pineapple/prize per person.
Costume Contest
Event Time: 9:30AM – 3:00PM

Prizes: $25 goodie bag and carnival T-shirt
Location: Take a Selfie in the West Lodge! Your photo will be displayed on our digital signage
Winner will be announced at the beginning of the slush pit event! Age Categories: 12 and under, 13-17 and 18+
Register your name at the group window and let us know your costume prior to taking your selfie! Entry closes at 12:00PM!
*Costume Guidelines: Family friendly costumes only. No swimsuits, vulgar or offensive attire will be permitted for contest entry.
Kid Zone
Event Time: 11:00AM – 4:00PM
Location: On snow, outside of patrol building near the bottom of red chair
Details: Geared towards ages 4 and up! Kids can participate in fun stations and earn a prize! Activities include: obstacle courses, snowman toss, craft tables, toy dig, spin the wheel, and even a giant snow pile for open ended play! Children need to be accompanied by a parent or adult in the kid zone.
Garbage Bag Race
Event Time: 11:00AM – 11:30AM
Registration: N/A
Check in: Bottom of the Blue Chair 11:00AM.
Prizes: $25 gift card and carnival T shirt for 1st place, $10 gift card and carnival T shirt for 2nd place, carnival T shirt for 3rd place.
Age Brackets: 12 & under and 13-17 year olds
Guidelines: Use a provided garbage bag to race to the finish line! Slide or roll down the course while covering your body with a garbage bag on The Meadows and cross the finish line first.
Decorated Box Judging (17 and under only)
Event Time: 11:30AM
Registration: N/A
Check in: Bottom of the Blue Chair at 11:30AM.
Prizes: 1st – T-shirt and $25 gift card
2nd – T-shirt and $10 gift card
3rd – T-shirt
Guidelines: Boxes will be judged based on audience applause.
Decorated Box Race
Event Time: 12:00PM
Registration: 9:00AM-11:00AM at the Group Window in the West Lodge *Special event waiver required
Check in: Bottom of the Blue Chair at 11:00AM.
Divisions: 12 years old and under; 13-17 years old; 18 & up
Prizes: 1st – T-shirt and $25 gift card
2nd – T-shirt and $10 gift card
3rd – T-shirt
Guidelines: Only two riders per box and they must be in the box when they reach the finish line. Only riders may push the boxes. The box must have at least 3 sides and should only be made with cardboard and tape. For everyone’s safety, “sono tubes” or hard cardboard concrete forms are not allowed to be used as a base.
Slush Pit
Event Time: 12:30PM
Registration: 9:00AM-11:30AM at the Group Window in the West Lodge *Special event waiver required
Check in: Bottom of White Chair at 12:15PM.
Prizes: Everyone who makes it across will receive a t-shirt!
Guidelines: Individuals have the opportunity to test their fate in skiing or boarding across a 70′ pit of water! Registration limited to the first 100 people. $10 to enter.
4v4 Snow Volleyball Tournament
Event Time: 1:30PM
Registration: 9:30AM-11:30AM at the Group Window in the West Lodge *Special event waiver required
Details: Maximum of 8 teams to register. Registration is first come first serve.
Check in: Bottom of Patrol Building at 1:15pm.
Mahalo Rail Jam
Event Time: 3:00 PM
Location: Jam Session Mini Terrain Park
Judging Format: Best Trick
